I’ve always been interested in the night sky. The stars, planets, solar system. I find the whole this fascinating. The idea that there are these things are out in space so different than earth, we can read about, learn about but can’t touch. the whole thing seems really surreal.
I’ve had night photography on my list of things to try to quite some time, but I also like sleep. The struggle between the two of these things is real. This month the night sky won the sleep debate on a few occasions and I took my first leaps into night photography. Not only has it been really amazing to try something new, I’ve also gotten to witness some really amazing things. Jupiter, Saturn, the Milky way , and Neowise the comet.
This month’s 30 minutes strays from my usual settings, there’s no kids, no interactions, no family story. Just me and the night sky.
